Died, october 23, 1939) was an american author best known for his popular adventure novels and stories that presented an idealized image of the rugged old west. Wrote new riders of the purple saeg and more. Obtained as part of a collection of autographed 3x5 index/linen cards purchased this ewek directly from the son of the original collector who had written to various celebrities in 1932-1934 requesting thier autographs and recieved the autograph through the mail in compliance with the request. The cards are all dated on the reverse with the month and year the autograph was recieved. Will be offering more items from this exciting collection on e-bay ni the coming weeks.
